Import to a port with no import clearing facilities

your head office and branch office is  where  situated?

I am an individual businessman. I don't have an exim setup of my own. What I could gather is that all goods entering India by sea has to enter only through the "Customs Port". My final delivery point is quite far from the nearest Customs Port and hence the transportation cost will shoot up. Is it not possible to get the material directly to my final destination point without taking the goods to the "Customs Port". I will be fully outsourcing the import handling to a 3rd party service providers who can work out the above arrangement.
