hello everyone,
i am planning of importing few USED cisco routers and switches from CHINA, the total cost will be around $2623 , & the shipping cost will be extra , that would be around $700, the seller will be shipping through DHL, i had been through many websites, but could not find any satisfying answer to my custom duty query, i wanted to know what would be the import duty that i will have to pay keeping in mind that the items are USED.

regarding the USED Cisco router, will the custom duty be calculated on the basis of assessable value, or commercial invoice. because for example the value of the one USED router is $100, but the market value of the brand new router is around $250. so will the customs be calculated on the basis of assessable value or the commercial invoice that comes along with the shipment?
IMPORTING SECOND HAND ELECTRONICS GOODS INTO INDIA IS NOT A GOOD IDEA .
