Import & Re-Export without Import Duty

Hi,

I would like to know if a product can be imported into India via Airfreight and labels changed at the airport without customs clearance and re-exported / sent on the next plane out of India..Basically used as a trasit to a different destination to send the product as a product of Indian Origin.

Is this possible ???

P.S: I am aware that this is possible in countries like Thailand and Srilanka...However would like to know if this is possible in India.
