Ignou gives degree or just a course completion status card??

hi,

I have passed IPCC - I and will also complete my articleship by next year. I recently called IGNOU for info about their B.com(A&F) which can be completed in one year by CA students who have passed IPCC. I was told that i will be an associate student and the prospectus clearly states that associate student cannot be granted degree but will be given a course completion status card. I want to know if the info is correct and if i complete the course will I be give an degree which makes me eligible for exams requiring graduation ???

Hi,

I did my Bcom A&F through IGNOU.

Firstly you need to pass IPCC both the groups and pass the exams conducted by IGNOU.

Once you are done with both you need to send the passing details to IGNOU delhi, they will do a process called grade transfer where the credits for subjects of IPCC and CPT will be given to you.

Then finally the degree will be awarded.
