Hi friends i recently completed ipcc both groups and my base is intermediate.
Now i want to do B.com along with the articles.
My friend said about IGNOU that there is a link to ICAI and IGNOU, i can do B.com through IGNOU and also i not have to write all the subjects because i completed IPCC both groups.
I didnt understand this.
Is there any procedure to do B.Com through IGNOU routing from ICAI.
Can any one tell me the procedure for this one.

I have heard the same, there is a memorandum of understanding between ICAI & IGNOU

thanks for your advice krishna, i am sure that i am daily looking at the icai website from when i joined CPT onwards.
But the MOU which u posted is in 2007.
So i didnt find this one.

What will you suggest me to go for normal degree or for IGNOU
IGNOU route is better because you gets the exemptions..i hope u might have already known the exemptions and related rules regarding the course. So my view is y to read again instead u can read non-exempted subjects and spend ur time either in articles and in studyg ur ca final subjects effectively. Let our seniors comment on this.
but if You see the MOU there they said that
IGNOU shall launch a specialized B.Com Course majoring in Accountancy and Finance for the students of chartered accountancy course by which exemption be granted in certain common subjects such that these students can improve their learning process by acquiring knowledge in new areas rather than concentrating in the same subject, which are covered in the theoretical education scheme of the chartered accountancy.
What it means they have another subjects which are not their for a normal degree
I dont think so. Subjects not covered in icai course and are in IGNOU normal degree are to be studied and written exam. For exempted subjects the marks scored in ca course will be added to ignou's bcom course.
