sir, my name is yogen, i am working in a company where previous year (2011-12) balance is not available but there is some assets which are in compay and there is no any purchased docoument of that assets and there is some liabilities which i come to know.
sir How can i overcome from this situation please help me.
YOU CAN ASK YOUR AUDITOR AS THEY MIGHT HAVE YOUR ACCOUNTS BACKUP,
AND THEY MIGHT HAVE DUPLICATE COPY OF BALANCESHEET AND ALL,
IT IS DUTY OF THE AUDITOR TO TAKE BOOKS OF ACCOUNTS OF CLIENT
just do wat management says.....
if they say to show these assets in books , then take the biils (they are always there) and just pass the entry after deducting proper depriciation relating to past years.
