Hi Suresh: I understand you will be appearing as per old syllabus, my suggestion for stage-1; 1)costing - Vashist & Saxsena, prior year suggested answers and Institute study module 2)Information Tech - I prepared institute material and suggested answers 3) Direct tax - Manoharan or V K Singhania(Students guide to Income tax) and Indirect tax (Vaitheswaran, Chennai based author, if i remember correct he is practising consultant in IDT). Vaitheswaran is best book for ICWAI inter now for stage-II 5)Management a/c performance management - Vashist & SAxsena - performance management book along with study module and suggested answers 6) Advanced Accounting – Hanif & Mukherjee (Vol 1 and Vol 2), study module and suggested answers 7)Auditing – study module , suggested answers and CA Inter (auditing) suggested answers 8) Quantitative Techniques – Study module alone with suggested answers will be sufficient Best of luck Regards Srinivas
