Know your "hidden strengths" to decide your career
TO DECIDE A CAREER IS ONE OF THE TOUGHEST DECISION IN THE LIFE.
Students generally decide what is good at "present" and accordingly join that course.
(Example: An exponential increase in number of CA students, as the mass thought CA course is the best in all respect).
While visiting to a counselor; Students and Parents NEVER listen to the "advice" of a CAREER COUNSELOR to decide about a COURSE.
They come to the CAREER COUNSELOR in the EXPECTATION that whatever they have "ALREADY DECIDED" on the basis of "general views;" "must" be confirmed by the counselor so that they can say others that "HE" has advised to pursue that COURSE.
One of the lacuna of many career counselors is:
They suggest the field in which they are engaged. (Example : Coaching Classes). Such classes "suggest" the course which is conducted by them A week days ago; one CPT student (who left Science with Maths after studying for 2 years) came with his relative. The student’s "VIEW" was to first complete CA "ANYHOW" and then to "SEE" what to do.
(Ask any Ca student what he will do after completion of CA; you will find the same answer).
A counselor has to "affirm" his views otherwise the student will be confused more than he was before Pareeniti Chopra (sister of Priyanka Chopra) could not get job after completion of MBA in Finance from UK Then she returned to "BHARAT" and became a FILM ACTRESS (Henceforth I will write Bharat replacing India) Readers may now very well judge in which field her interest was and where she could do wonders.
There is a difference between a Career and a Course.
