I think ICAI should go ahead with this idea. There should be some difference kept between a person who is joining CA after graduation and after 12th i.e before graduation. This is what my opinion is.

I am not  talking about joining after graduation or 12 th. I want to say wt about CPT it is Common Proficiency . It doesnt mean that one have a proficiency after completing his/her graduation. If one has proficiency so why IIM conducting CAT why it can,t provide direct admission to Graduates.

ICAI will take the decision on to direct entry for IPCC to graduate because now professional degree is change in to primary test mode all Other courses are changed in to the segment. There is no need to CPT for graduate in Commerce but other ?

All students, who have desire for joining CA course must write the CPT Exam

Graduation do not test the proficiency of the student, but CPT DOES

I agree all your posts. But in my point of view, In CPT Question papers contains most of the subjects the 12th portions. Graduates are more thinks upon the 12th standard. They think has wide in knowledge.

Simply says,  CPT exams to Graduates is like a 1st Standard Questions are ask in the 10th standard public Question paper.

Due to the commercial world, nobody have FULLY concentrate in the Studies. And also the CPT Question papers contains lot of Twists and turn questions (DO or DIE concepts).

I am not critics the CPT and CA Exams. It my general opinion that’s it.
