I want to form a soical club

Dear All,

I along with a few friends want to form a Charitable trust, where we will be collecting Donations from Individuals or Corporates and the fund rised from it shall be used to provide Educational and medical help for the poor and the needy.

What is the legal formalaty to form this kind of Trust. and does it involve any taxation.
