soon after notarising i noticed that i havent quoted the name of my huf in the affidavit. rest all contents are ok. but the name of huf isnt written therein.

is there any chance that nsdl will reject pan application

Quick Summary
A user submitted an affidavit for their HUF PAN card application after notarisation, only to realise the HUF's name was missing. They are concerned about NSDL rejecting the application and whether to submit the original or a copy of the affidavit. While it might be accepted if the stamp paper was in the HUF's name, it's more likely to be put on hold, and a new affidavit may be required. NSDL typically sends a memo for corrections rather than outright rejecting applications.

The affidavit might get accepted if you have taken a stamp paper in the name of huf ( back side of stamp paper ). But most probably, it will be kept on hold. Better to make another affidavit.

2. copy of affidavit needs to be submitted

If possible make DEED OF HUF instead of Affidavit

Your application might get rejected as the only document in support of HUF name is that affidavit and same needs to be thereon. NSDL never reject application directly, but will send you the memo about the adverse remarks for your application and shall share link to share another affidavit with necessary details incorporated therein. So you need not to pay PAN application fees again. Keep checking NSDL PAN application tracking for details. It would be luck if it went through.
