Mr.x A house in banglore & now hav bought a new home at navi mumbai, kharghar, but due to his job in south mumbai, he is staying in s.mumbai on rent. and has given his new home to his brother to stay at no cost.
house at banglore is on given on rent.
in such a situation
1)can he claim HRA.
2)Should he consider the navimumbai house to be DEEMED TO BE LET OUT H.P.

Dear John,
HRA Exemption can be claimed.
One house can be treated as Self occupied. so no need to consider as Deemed Let out since House at Bangalore is actually let out.
