How was today's DT paper ??

i did not touch RTP / PM / Module for DT.. but i could ans all ques..
 

It was good.. could have been better...
 

Nothing toooooooo tricky.. but conceptual.. and amendments were in depth (you cannot afford to miss a line)

Lots of amendments.. but still many pending to be asked (For Nov)

As expected.. nothing unusual..

Now Main..

An avg student shld score 50+ atleast... above avg student / preperation shld fetch you 60+

40 Marks Amendment and 10-15 Marks Case Laws..

The thing is you get lost in such a huge portion and its just the 2 small books makes the whole difference..

Thats  what ICAI tries to do in May Attempts.

Easy Paper

I think paper was a bit conceptual at time...then there were easy questions...overall a good paper...and easy paper if u had paid attention even for once to the topics..

question was easy, could have done far better but silly mistakes never ends

how to study and how do i start

@ renu -Please never go for any kind of selected topics study, go through whole syllabus at least one, don't rely on rumours, Use at least one reference book like Vinod Gupta modules, have a look on ICAI publications atleast once,& case Laws.....These will more than inough...
