Dear friends,

When I was trying to correct the statement in traces, the following message is appeared.

"PAN of Authorized / Responsible Person as per Personal Information of the correction and as per TRACES Profile should be same. Please update the PAN of Authorized / Responsible Person in the correction file."

Why this message is appearing?

How can I update the PAN of authorized person in correction file?

Please guide me in detail.

Confirm the authorised representative details on traces and then check it in your software from where you are filing the return.

If you are doing online correction, then the name of the authorised lerson and name in the digital signature should be the same. Do the correction in Personal Information also.

Just read out the query, be clearly mention the error that authorised person details in correction file is not the same as registered on traces.

He has to check the name of authorised person on traces and then show the same in the return file and then to aubmit

I don't like to argument or any other. Bcoz, You can't understand what I said. After that You simply msg like "You come and msg against me with personally"

The query says "doing correction in traces". This is used with DSC except challan correction

No just check correction is to made in correction file i.e. revised return file uploaded on traces.

We are regularly handling this type ofiisue and already correct in the same way I told.

You have to use same representative name in return which is registered on traces.

DSC used on IT portal while filing online TDS return.
