How to lock a folder without a s/w

could not understand locker function

Dear club members,

I've been using locker file for quite some time.

One idea I have conceived is to change the locker.bat file name and file icon too so that it looks like any other file. It will deter others to open this file if the subject is not of their choice.

Try it.

It is useful, but the password is visible while it is being entered for locking the folder. Moreover, the folder can be deleted easily by  other users as it does not require the password for deleting it.
