How to give Share Certificate No. which was Transferred

Resolutions 2679 views 5 replies

My company  Transfered some shares to the existing Directors

The Following Shares were allotted previously to X Person and same some of the shares  were transfered to Y - Person

X  Person - Share  Cert. No. 22  - 25000 shares

X  Person - Share Cert No. 23  -  20000 shares

In Certificate No. 22 - 20000 Shares Transfered to Y - Director  and in Cert. No. 23 -  18000 shares Transfered to

Y - Director.   My conclusion is that whether we have to give fresh Certificate no. to the allotted Shares which was transfered to Y - Director  or we can continue the same Certificate NO.

And also what type of comment We have to mention on the back side of Share certificate No. 22 & 23  regarding Share Certificate.

Plz can any body give me the clarification abt the Alloting the Certificate no. to be given New Number or followed by

Old Cert. No.

The Share Certificates has to be first splitted or sub-divided then only you can give effect to those transfers. The splitted share certificates will bear new certificate no.  You are also required to mention over the new share certificate "Sub-divided in lieu of Original Certificate No....."

Dear Ankur Sir,

Plz clarify me that whether the new sub-divided share certificate will bear the name of original shareholder or the name of the person in whose name shares are to be transferred.

New sub-divided share certificate will surely bear the name of original shareholder. Than transfer the new sub divided share certificate to transferee.

Just check the transfer minute attached above for removal of all your doubts.
