How to file RTI against our institute/university?

Lodge your complaint here. There are no fees for the same. Once you are about to get the info, you may have to pay xerox charges. Nothing apart from that.  Keep a scanned copy of your relevant documents ready for uploading. 

U can file RTI in any Govt. Dept.

If u don't know where to file RTI for a relevant dept., then u can file RTI in any dept. and the said dept. will handover ur RTI to the relevant Govt. Dept. within 5 days as per provisions of RTI Act.

As for the procedure for filing RTI, Just on a simple sheet of paper, write subject as "application under the RTI ACt, 2005" and write in simple words and in short, giving ur references as applicable, the relevant facts and the things u want to know. the info will be delivered to u in 30 days.....

In case u feel problem dealing with any dept.,do file RTI to know the info that u hve right to know...........

Again, if u don't know the relevant RTI office, deposite it to any other govt. dept. nearby u. May be post office, or "ANY" dept. whether related to the relevant dept or not. and they shall tranfer it to the relevant dept. within 5 days. In case they deny to accept the same, ask them to give their denial in written, as they can't deny ur application.....!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
