I have joined a company where accounts was not properly maintained before.Recently i got some bills which are paid 3 months before without voucher (bill date 27-01-2014).If i want to file it on 24-04-2014 which date i should write on the voucher

How to enter old bills

Since the amount of the bill is already paid, you have to mention the actuall bill date i.e. 27-1-2014 on the debit voucher and attach the bill.
