How to download form 26AS?

Income tax department has provided facility to taxpayer to download form 26AS and view all the important details from it related to income tax and TDS. Important question is how to download form 26AS? Don't worry, I am guiding you about it.

First Step:

Go to income tax website by clicking following link

Second Step:

Click on view form 26AS shown in circle in image below.

Step 3:

Now you can see login screen. Login with your User ID (PAN NO), pass word and date of birth.

Step 4:

After successfull login, you can see following screen. Click on confirm button which will lead you to TDS -CPC website.

Step 5:

TDS Cpc will show you following screen. Tick on I agree and click on Proceed.

Step 6:

Now click on view tax credit (form 26AS)

Step 7:

You are now on following screen. Here you can see your name, address , pan number, status of pan number. You have to select Assessment year for which you want to see your form 26AS. Also select pdf in view as option.

Your download is ready now. click on view/download button. Save the file in desired folder.

Important note: password to open the pdf file is date of birth/date of incorporation. Example : if DOB is 06/06/1988, the password will be 06061988.
