How to calculate Debt service coverage ratio and other ratio, if there were no existing business lo

Dear sir/madam,

Hope you are doing well.

I have a query to ask you.

Actually one of my uncle is applying for cash credit, as required I have given PL and BS. But that bank is asking about to calculate Debt service coverage ratio, internal assets covege ratio and last one is Debt assets ratio.
It's a retail hardware business. My uncle's business is at very small level where he did not have any existing debt/loan/any other financial obligations. That means he is applying for first time for any loan.

Now my question is that, how can I calculate the above ratio if there is no existing debt. Or is there any other way to calculate, which you may fallow to do?
Please help me to solve this issue.

Thanking you.

Regards

Quick Summary
This discussion addresses how to calculate key financial ratios like the Debt Service Coverage Ratio (DSCR), Internal Assets Coverage Ratio, and Debt-to-Assets Ratio for a new retail business applying for its first loan. The core challenge is calculating these ratios when there's no existing debt or financial obligations. Advice includes presenting certified financial statements from a CA, providing CMA data, and explaining to the bank that certain ratios may not be applicable due to the business's nascent stage.

Tell bank it's a small business.
last few years financial status declaration to be given.
The same has to be certified efficiently.

Thank you for replying immediately 🙂

Certifiy all the financial statements from a CA and give it to Bank manager by giving the CMA data and its related ratios and the ratios which are not applicable that should be not filled. Tell the bank manager the type of business your uncle have
