I hope this is the relevant forum for discussing about COST ACCOUNTANT (conducted by ICWAI or ICMAI).
I am Graduate and I'm going to join a "Public Sector Bank" as a "Probationary Officer" in the first week of November 2014.
I was contemplating to do Cost Accountancy conductedby ICWAI or ICMAI.
I understand that I can directly sit for Intermediate Examination. Also, as I would be working in a Bank, I may be exmepted from Practical training.
Please guide me.
1) I want to appear for Intermediate Examination next year. Can I do the Intermediate course through correspondence? Is there any practical training before or after Intermediate Examination.
2) After completion of Intermediate Examination, When to apply for Final Examination i.e., before pratical training or after practical training?
3) Are Public Sector Bank employees exempted from Practical training?
