Help need to create a valid invoice

Sir/Madem,

I m doing freelancer service with a name of "RoxSoft Technologies"... (Web & Software Development) .

My client's asking me for sales invoice... But i dont have TIN number now... Is there is any way to create valid invoice for me...

I thnk u make a receipt for paymnt of urs service in plain paper nd CROSS signed on receipt-ticket (u can obtain frm court) Bt nt confrmd....i only heard abt it.

From Yahoo Answers i got this ==>

The receipt should show date of payment, method of payment, amount of payment and a reference to the invoice the payment relates to. It should also show any balance still due.

Is is right?
