Don't be disappointed so early by such small thing.

Firstly u can take a transfer. You can apply to ICAI, the institute takes into consideration if it is really a geniune case.

And if that is not possible then speak with ur boss regarding the same and after that then also he is not listening then u may continue ur articleship of remaining 6 months and then try somewhere else.

Don't get so frustrated.

don't worry now u realised ur mistake go speak to ur boss and compromise do the best from now still there is a time

My articleship life was spent by only doing vouching,
 

1) If possible, take transfer/industrial training/secondment of articleship.

2) If not possible, finish articleship period and join another firm for the months of June to September while specifying in the interview that you'd like to do work related to Income Tax/Service Tax/VAT/etc.

Though I am replying this mail after 2 months, I still would like to present my opinion.

Firstly I would like to know about your preference whether you want to join for employment or practice after your articleship. Secondly, if so, in which area or department do you want to represent for how long? - This is the first step in deciding your future course of action.

I understand that practical subjects like Tax & Audit subjects can be learnt effectively only through hands on experience on such matters.

First speak to your boss about your likes & convince him to give you assignments in areas which you favour.  If such assignments are not available, go for secondment or industrial training if you aspire for that. If sufficient answer is not still available, discuss with your CA friends for more viable options. Once you complete your articleship you can join a new entity which specialises in what you ask for or join for employment in the concerned department you want to work with.

What I have provided is just some thoughts on approaching your problem. Ultimately it is up to you and decide what is good for you. All the best !!!
