We are purchasing from outside our state but selling only within the state and shall be having Gross Sales less than 20 lacs in the year. Now are we require to register under GST ?

but the transporters are not ready to ship, they are saying we cant presume that u r under 20lac criteria and so we need gst no. of both the parties else we wont be supplying?? in this case??

one more ques, and if the seller is registered and not the buyer then?? do transporters shall again demand gst from seller?
