that is quite possible...elsewhere, ou may get a hand on experience in various other areas and industry also...

It is better to go for any other audit firm having all types of cliens. U can get exposure to all areas.

Another thing is,if i work in the 1st firm,i can make a career in stock brokig which is a vast field..

that is true Neeti, you can specialise in that field, but as a student, you should grab an experience in all the areas...like tax, stat audit, internal audit, tax audit...etc..

you should know little about everything.....

I have work experience of tax audit,as i have worked in a ca firm for a year.my experience was bad,because we were only trained in basic tax audit & our sir did not encourage us to learn new things,if i wanted to take up vat or service tax,i was told it is not 'my  field'. this may not apply to all firms but i've head many of my frnds say that this is a general practise.
