I had joined ICWAI inter 2008sep.I will take june 2009 Exam stage I.May i know finacial accounting best reference book

Dear Sir,

I have joined ICWI revised syllabus.  I would be giving the June 2009 examination.

Please guide me accordingly.  I have R.L.Gupta text book or accountancy. For tax i have Ahuja book. Are these books helpful.  I am little bit confused.  Can you suggest me any way for studying the Group-I (Accountancy, Direct Tax & Law& Auditing)

I have a query regarding Info Tech Paper in Stage 1 that I got exempt of same paper but now i want to switch over to new syllabus can i get the same exemption in new syllabus?

There is no such thing as best book or worst book.

To start with ALWAYS buy the prospectus. All details regarding swithover, exemption will be given there.

For text books, only refer to authors suggested/recommended in the Prospectus by the Institute. Always read from the study materials.

Make it a habit to visit the Institute's website regularly to keep track of the changes/updates.  www.icwai.org
