I am a Government Employee working in Punjab National Bank. One of our branches work at night for clearing of cheques in Jaipur. All employees working at night receive Hard duty allowance because of working hours.
I want to know whether this hard duty allowance is taxable or not?

No, Jaipur is not under any specific area category; hence it will be taxable.
