Guidance Sought.

I cleared Group I, however , could not clear Group II because of ISCA and DT. This was my first attempt.

I studied all the subjects from Study Material and Practice Manual.

My marks
ISCA 36 (expected 55)
DT. 34 (as expected).

Please provide me ground rules to be kept in mind for preparation of these two subjects.

Also suggest reference material for these subjects.

Please frame the guidance in context of Self Study.

Thank you!

ISCA - No reference book I know. Join Amit Tated sir, even this time he have many students above 80 and may in 60+.
For DT - VG is best.
Thank You Ankita

I cannot join classes. Please suggest any strategy two secure 60+ in these subjects.

Your response is appreciated
for isca, base your studies on icai material, make your own note, study isca every day...are the ground rules for preparation... dont rely on somebody else's mnemonics for remembering points... instead prepare your own..
for dt, I think your nov 16 strategy may work in May exam... the low marks may be due to strict valuation for dt this time... go selective and be thorough... that will work fir dt.... vinod gupta modules plus supplementary material and select cases of icai can be based for 60 +
Thank you Ruskin
I don't know about ISCA as followed Amit sir blindly. But can say, u don't need daily revision. Once u complete chapter revise it once a week in an hour don't put much time in revising as u have to cover other subjects as well. While going through study material, make on memory techniques using names of friends or family members or like that. or something which appears in answers putting word in that sentence.
For DT VG book in deep but while reading main do cross reference to summary module. Mark topics which are covered in PM or not covered as pwr weights for chapters. Go through supplementary and case studies. RTP, suggested of last 3-4 attempts is enough.
Totally agreed with Ruskin..

hey kindly guide me about your preparation on first group i badly failed in first group i secured very less mark this time.
