Due Date to file GSTR-9, GSTR-9A and GSTR-9C is still 31.08.2019.

May be yes.

I don't think that date will get extended

Already the Government has extended the due date of filing Annual Return by 8 months. Initially, the due date was 31.12.2018, which further got extended to 31.06.2019 and then to 31.08.2019. 

However, if any glitches arises in the gst common portal while filing it, then you "may" expect extension of Due date.
