Do one need to fill all purchase details or auto populated purchase details from registered suppliers already showing is sufficient on gst portal

GSTR 1 is only for outward supply.
I mean in table 2A do one need to file purchase details or auto populate details of purchase is sufficient
Just match your purchases with 2A and need to put ITC. No need to show purchase details. Thats it.
