Those who have opted for filing gst quarterly, will they have to file 3B monthly and GSTR-1 quarterly.

On GST dashboard, returns are coming as 1 for quarterly and 3B monthly.

Yes Sir...

Quarterly Returns means that FORM GSTR-1 ( Statement of Outward Supplies ) will be filed quarterly and the Summary Return in FORM GSTR-3B will be filed monthly. As of now there is no option to file GSTR-3B quarterly. It has to be filed every month since the taxes are deposited along it.

But w.e.f. 01/01/2021, the GST Council in its 42nd Meeting held on 05th October 2020 has decided that the Small Taxpayers ( Aggregate Turnover less than Rs. 5 crores ) will be given the option to file Returns quarterly and pay the taxes monthly via Challan.
Yes, they have to file 3B monthly and GSTR-1 quarterly.

@ Sagar Tatti Sir,

FORM GSTR-3B is a monthly Summary Return which every Regular Scheme Dealers are required to file within 20th of the succeeding month. In this Return, the taxpayers are required to summarize and report the values of Purchase and Sales made during the month and deposit the taxes ( along with late fees and interest, if applicable ).
Is it not necessary to fill with in 20th for all
date are different from different state n union territory
Yes Ayusmita Ma'am. The due date of filing GSTR-3B depends upon the States and Union Territory where the taxpayers place of business is located. As per the GST Law ( to be precise Section 39 of the CGST Act 2017 ) the normal due date is 20th of the following month.

But the Government has divided the States into two groups - Group A & Group B for the Small Taxpayers ( having Aggregate Annual Turnover upto Rs. 5 crores ) and accordingly the due dates of GSTR-3B have been set at 20th and 22nd of the following month. This is purely done to reduce the rush and load of the GSTN System on the due date and to avoid technical glitches. This division is done few months back.

But for the Large Taxpayers ( having Aggregate Turnover more than Rs. 5 crores ), the due date is still as per the Law i.e. 20th of the following month. There's no change for them.
