Gst return for work contract
if work contractor received part payment for govt contract then where to show it in gstr1 as govt is not a registered party.plz reply

For part payments from an unregistered government department, report the advance in Table 11 of GSTR-1 (if applicable for services) and the final invoice value in the B2C (Table 5 or 7), depending on whether it is an inter-state (large invoice) or intra-state supply. If the government department holds a UIN, report the transaction in the B2B section instead.
