hi. if any trader received their GST no on 25.08.17 then he can claim the input of purchase made before 25.08.17.

If he has applied within 30 days from the date he is liable to register then he can claim ITC for all inward supplies from the date he was liable to register. ensure in all those invoices his GSTIN is mentioned or the vendor uploads with your GSTIN.
