GST Registration in Same State
Is it possible for a person who already has one GST registration in one state to take another registration in the same state? Are there any legal impediments to that

Yes if the person has a branch in that same state then he can take 2nd registration within the same state.
It is doubtful whether a dealer with the same PAN number is allowed two registrations in the same state
Business having same pan cannot apply for more than one gst registration
Business different locations of business within the same state can apply for 2nd registration within that state... Its is completely valid.
What if in case a person have one GSTin and same person starts a new business with different trade name .In such can he use same GSTIN of his old business or have to apply for new GSTIN ?
Both businesses are of different type e.g. pharmaceuticals(name ABC) and the new one of clothes (name XYZ).
