I was earlier registered under VAT composition scheme and want to take registration under GST composition scheme. I did not get Provisional ID and password from VAT dept. On asking, they are saying to take new registration under GST. I want to know, if i apply for new egistration will i face any legal diificulty due to my case as explained. Also, if i take new registration what will happen to my earlier VAT registration, it will automatically cancel or will i have to apply for it or serve a letter to dept.??
