if a person wants to register in the gst and the address of the bussiness place is in tha name of grand parents who died long ago.then what to do to get registered on that place.like property papers in the name of grand mother and electricity bill in the name of her then what to do for registration.

I think you should transfer it on your name than u should apply .

Who is legal hier for that property BTW ?. All legal heirs should give a Consent letter/declaration n you need to attach the same in portal .

Father is legal heir of the property.and this is the common issue in india.as property remains in the name of grandparents or parents even after their death.

Only your father ? if yes, your father will have a legal heirship certificate , you need to attach that certificate and a consent letter signed from him .

Rental agreement copy also can produce for registration purpose.

You should take on ownership of property and apply for amendment in property records and electricity department records.

If your father has any document in his name you can take consent letter from him and attach the document.

Clarification is issued that document of principal place of bussiness is wrong and we uploaded the noc cum affidavit declaring legal heir of the deceased, as well as house tax receipt and death certficate of the deceased. now what document to be uploaded further? rent agreement.......
