currently I have GST registration (proprietary firm-Arnav developers) now this business not continuing.
now , I am going to start new business (proprietary firm-Arnav Enterprises)
I have stopped my old business.
Can I go ahead with existing GST no.for my new business.
Or
should I cancel my existing gst no.& Reapply for new GST no.

You can continue with the same. You can change the trade name from Arnav developers to Arnav Enterprises by making an amendment of core field
I think we may continue with the existing registration provided the same PAN continues and Assets & Liabilities continues to be the same..

@ shikha why cancel and take new one when there is no change in PAN? you are aware that both cancellation and registration process takes time? what is the point in that? only trade name changes from arnav developers to arnav enterprises. can be done with an amendment
