Already registered under GST as a Consultancy Service with Trade Name. Also open a Restaurant different Trade Name. So can I amendment registration or take a new registration for same PAN but different Trade Name.

It's better take New in case Restaurants Services as will find easy to Keep & maintain Accounts.

can also continue in Existing GSTN

Yes... I agreed to Mr Pankaj Rawat's view...

Better to take New registration for Restaurant business then You can avail ITC on consulting business related...
