lam working as a jewel appraiser in a bank in Kerala,is there a need for GST registration for me?

In the GST Regime, businesses whose turnover exceeds Rs. 20 lakhs (Rs 10 lakhs for NE and hill states) is required to register as a normal taxable person.

There is being a two situation mention here
1st is if you earning salary from there so you no need to take GST no. but
2nd if you doing business with them and doing trading or retail work so you need to take a GST no. 【Your business turnover exceeds ₹20lakhs 】
