Can two firms owned by same proprietor in same state with single PAN be registered under one number?

Proprietor is not separate from the firm. Therefore, there will be only one GST number for both the firms.

I mean that in business we paid tax on purchase but not take tax in sale so our tax will be refund or not

I mean that tax on raw materials but not in finished goods and services than what we do
