Facts:-
"D" is a Individual and was the proprietor of firm "XYZ" and registered under DVAT.
"D" is also registered under Service Tax sepertely.
"D" formed a Private Ltd. Company "ABC" in 2015 and taken over the business of proprietorship Firm XYZ and duly got the amendment done with DVAT Department, for change in constitution.
User Id for migration to GST was issued by DVAT Department, for company ABC, having PAN of "D" instead of PAN of Company ABC.
Matter was followed up with VAT department and they reverted back to GST Cell and they advised us "to get the provisional id, at GST portal, using the worng user id issued by VAT department which can be amended only after GST is notified and nothing can be done at this stage."
We acted accordingly and now we are not able to register "D" under GST in his individual capacity as status reflects that user id is used at some other portal and add premises address there.
Please guide us.

You shoud take up the matter with DVAT and get rectified your PAN no. of company; otherwise it will create difficulties even after implementation of GST. Secondly you will not be able to get benefit of ITC during migration.
So, advisable to get new provisional ID & password from DVAT after pan number rectification.
