yes always better u can get set off capital goods also

if register under  in gst  voluntary

Yes you can take voluntary registration and you are entitled to take credit of input tax in respect of inputs held in stock and inputs contained in semi-finished or finished goods held in stock only on the day immediately preceding the date of grant of registration
