There is provision under GST for field visit . Gov has right to visit your business premises. But chances are very low

You can apply for GST Registration and there is no issue to make your office in your home.

You should maintain all proper documents related to GST Registration so that in case of Field visit by the proper officer, you can disclose all those to him. As said by Mayur Todmal Sir, chances are very low for field visit.
