purchase return gstr 1 or gstr 2 which account should be shown ie debit note plz tell me

The supplier will raise credit note as it will amount to Sales Return for the supplier. Details of this Credit note will be updated in his GSTR 1 by the supplier and the purchaser need to accept the same in his GSTR 1. However, if the supplier has not disclosed the details in his GSTR 1, then purchaser needs to update details in GSTR 2 which needs to be accepted by the supplier.
