Quick Summary
This discussion clarifies whether Goods and Services Tax (GST) applies to interest received by Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) when buyers pay late. While there isn't a specific notification, the general definitions of 'supply' and 'service' under GST law mean that payments received for delayed consideration are taxable. Therefore, MSMEs should account for GST on such interest income.

Yes GST applicable........

is there any  particular notification or rule mentioning this

There is no notification but the very definition of service and supply along with definition of business covers it under charging section.

Payment for delayed consideration is taxable.
