Greetings from Vasan & Sampath, Chartered Accountants, Bbangalore.

We do conduct GD's for larger batches of students during the course of the interview and selection process. There are generally 2 rounds of GD conducted - one Technical an the other generic.  Topic for the Technical round could include say merit of a scpeciifc change in an AS, benefit of IFRS introduction, globalizing of Audit standards, importance of documentation, etc.  Non technical could include topics on current affairs, recent global events, CA vs MBA, etc.
