Can anybody who has done articleship from grant thornton tell me whether they provide time for coaching or not.If they dont provide time for coaching then whether should i go for a medium size firm which gives me the time for coaching or go for grnt thornton

According to me you should select mid size and trusted firm.
Articleship is the golden period of a CA student's carrer...

I think u should really go for Grant thornton, one of my seniors had worked their and he got time for coachings. But for IPCC students coaching time is not given in the first year. And more importantly grant thornton is really a great firm to work big, infact after u passout ur resume will have this great advatage of work exprnce wid grant thornton, getting a good package wont be difficult for you.
Could u please share ur experience as how u got into Grant thornton, what was their selection process and everything.
Definitely go for GT for atleast a year. Articles from these firms are more knowledgeable and earn more than a CA of mid size or small firm. As for coaching it wholly depends on your audit manager,whether he allows it or not. It is the same case with every firm where your principal decide on your coaching classes. I would say this is a golden opportunity,dont miss it.
