Can we issue the debit note for previous year (17-18) in current financial year ?

If goods are being return previous Year , then issue & enter in previous year only

Pankaj ji goods belong to previous year but received in current year.
YES YOU CAN ISSUE CREDIT NOTE IN CURRENT YEAR (EVEN THOUGH GOODS BELONG TO PREVIOUS YEAR)
