Suppose, A company has received 3 nos. of a product as sample from supplier without incurring any cost and further, out of that, 2 nos. were distributed by the company as free sample to its prospective customer.
Now, there is no money involved at the time of receive of goods as well as outflow of goods. How these transactions will be recorded in Tally ERP9?
I know the journal entry for distribution as free sample is - Advertisement Exp A/c......Dr. & Purchase A/c......Cr.
But, facing difficulty while making entry in tally as no money is involved within these transactions.
