can sum1 pls enlighten me on not the consequences of not completing the gmcs 1 course within the first year of articleship..

Don’t know about the consequences, but recently ICAI has extended the time to complete GMCS-I by 30.09.2014. To view the announcement, click here.

So, if you have exceeded the stipulated time limit of one year, there is a relaxation to complete it now.
